How to Export Contact List

How to Export Your Full Contact List in Funnel Breezy

This guide will show you how to export your entire contact list from your Funnel Breezy dashboard before scrubbing it for unsubscribed and bounced emails.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Contacts:

   • Log in to your Funnel Breezy account.

   • Click on "Contacts" in the dashboard menu.
     
     

2. Select All Contacts (if needed):

   • If you have a small list (under 1,000 contacts), all contacts will likely be displayed on the screen.

   • If you have a large list (over 1,000 contacts), you may see a "Select All Records" option. Click this to select all contacts.
     
     

3. Export Contacts:

   • Click the "Export Contacts" button.
     
     

4. Save Your File:

   • A dialog box will appear allowing you to name your CSV file. Choose a descriptive name and save the file to a location you can easily access.

That's it! You will now have a complete CSV file containing all your contacts before you begin scrubbing your list.

How to Scrub Your List and Verify Emails in Funnel Breezy

This guide will show you how to scrub your email list and verify email addresses in Funnel Breezy. Regularly cleaning your list helps improve deliverability and ensures you're compliant with email regulations.

Step 1: Enable Email Verification (Optional)

1. Go to Settings > Business Profile > Profile.

2. Scroll down to General.

3. Click on Verify Email Address When First Email is Sent to a New Contact. (Note: This incurs a cost of ⅓ cent per verification)

Reasoning: Verification helps reduce bounces and improve the integrity of your sending domain.

Step 2: Remove Unsubscribed Contacts (Every 3 Months)

1. Go to Contacts.

2. Click on More Filters.

3. Scroll down and select DND is enabled for all channels.

4. Click Apply.

5. Click Save as a smart list and name it "Unsubscribed".

6. Optional: Review the list. Currently unsubscribed contacts will be displayed.

7. Select all contacts on the list and click Delete.

Step 3: Remove Bounced Emails (Every 3 Months)

1. Go to Contacts.

2. Click on More Filters.

3. Scroll down and select Valid Email > Invalid.

4. Click Apply.

5. Click Save as a smart list and name it "Bounced Emails".

6. Select all contacts on the list and click Delete.

• You can repeat steps 2 and 3 more frequently (e.g., every 2-3 weeks) if desired.

• Creating smart lists for unsubscribed and bounced emails saves time for future cleanings.
