Manually Unsubscribe a contact from emails and SMS messages

Learn how to manually unsubscribe or "DND" a contact so that they no longer receive emails and SMS messages from you.  You will also be able to unsubscribe them from all or from specific forms of communication.

  1. Contacts

  3. Scroll down to the bottom left within the DND section

 

 

How to Manually Unsubscribe an Individual Contact (Step-by-Step)

1. Access Your Contacts:

  • Open the section where you manage your contacts.

2. Select the Contact:

  • Click on the specific contact you want to unsubscribe.

3. Locate the Do Not Disturb (DND) Section:

  • Scroll down on the contact's information until you find the "DND" or "Do Not Disturb" section.

4. Choose Unsubscribe Channels (Optional):

  • If you only want to unsubscribe the contact from specific communication channels (e.g., email, text message), you can select those channels in the DND options. Leave calls and voicemail options unselected if you want them to receive those.

5. Delete the Contact (Recommended):

  • It's generally recommended to completely delete the contact if they're unsubscribing. This ensures you don't retain their information.

6. Delete Confirmation:

  • Click on "Delete" associated with the contact.

  • A confirmation window will appear. Double-check that you're only deleting one contact.

  • Click "Confirm" to permanently delete the contact.

7. Deletion Completion:

  • It might take a few seconds or a minute for the contact to disappear from your system.
