Taking Your Website Out of Maintenance/Coming Soon Mode and Launching it

This guide will show you how to take your website out of maintenance or coming soon mode and launch it live.

Before you begin:

• Make sure you're happy with all the edits you've made to your website template.

Steps:

1. Log in to your website's back-end.

2. Look for a section labeled "Maintenance Mode" or "Coming Soon Mode." It might be a red banner or a setting.

3. Click on the setting to disable maintenance/coming soon mode.

4. Save your changes. You should see a notification that maintenance mode is disabled.

5. Clear your website's cache. This ensures visitors see the latest version of your site, not a cached version of the maintenance/coming soon page. You might find a "CDN cache" option where you can select "purge everything."

6. (Optional) Configure Yoast SEO (if you have it). Yoast SEO helps search engines understand your website.

   • Go to "Yoast SEO" (it might be under "Tools").

   • Click on "General" and then "First Time Configuration."

   • Follow the steps to tell Yoast about your website (e.g., purpose, URL). This helps Google crawl and index your site.
